Dr Manjula Denkanikota

My name is Dr Manju and I am a specialist GP at Victahealth.

I am a fellow of Royal Australian College of general practitioners.

I come from Bengaluru, South India and graduated from medical school in 1995.  I moved to the UK and continued to pursue further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

In 2008 I moved to Atherton from the UK with family and worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology until moving to General practice work in 2014. The family moved to Perth in 2020.

All aspects of GP work interest me; the privilege of being able to care and advocate for patients is a great honour.

I have a special interest in women’s health including sexual health and Family Planning, I can support you with pre and pregnancy counseling, health care for you during and after pregnancy as well as for your newborn.

Empowering women with contraceptive choices is also an aspect of care I am passionate about. This includes inserting and removing Implanon / Mirena / Kyleena and copper Intrauterine devices, skin cancer checks and excisions.

My special interest now is helping improve health of women with the innovative Morpheus 8 treatment for face, body, and vulvovaginal care.

Morpheus 8 radio-frequency treatment is aimed at improving skin quality. The specialized vaginal treatment options are now available at Victahealth. I will also be providing support with the Heallite 2 treatment.
